Abba Father

The painting I illustrated featured below does not really illustrate what I had in mind when I decided to write this post. I imagined the Father lovingly in his glory smiling down on his children. But here's the rub. There are going to be some days when you may feel that the world is against you. Life is not going where you want it to go. It's not all halos and roses. And that dear brothers and sisters is ok. It's at times like this that Jesus's smiling face holding us in his loving arms across time and space is maybe all we need to keep going, keep trusting and keep believing.

Prayer

Dear heavenly Father,

Thank you that throughout time and space, your love remains constant. Your word says you will never leave or forsake us no matter the season or circumstance. Help us as we prepare to face another day, bless our undertakings as we lift our hopes and dreams before you.
