Living in uncertain times

I don't think that there has ever been a time within this generation within a western context where we have had to deal with so much within a relative short space of time. I refer to COVID and now #black lives matter. I have to ask what does God think of all this? what would he say? Well, let us turn our attention to the following scripture.

 6:25-34 New International Version (NIV)

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

I don’t have an answer as to why, what or when. All I can say is we need to look at the scripture and just keep trusting our heavenly father who sees the beginning and the end.

Prayer

Father, we thank you for your word, your love and care for our world. Help us Father to keep your words in our hearts and mind So we can navigate our way through these uncertain times.h
