Thank God it’s Friday I hear you say! 😂

Lord Jesus, thank you so much that for many of us we have come to the end of the working week. Others of us may have to work the weekend. Some of us may not be able to work due to Covid19 have children, health issues or are struggling to find work. Some of us may be fortunate enough to be able to afford not to work. You Guys are living the dream right! 🤣🤣

For most of us lesser mortals we look forward to Friday the start of the weekend. It's a chance where if we are lucky enough we can rest, binge watch Netflix or Prime, spend time with our loved ones and try and forget about Monday morning...

So yes! We thank God it's Friday but let's be thankful for every day of the week.

Each day we have an opportunity to make changes to our routines, to meet each day with the knowledge that no matter what it's a new day and your mercies are new every morning. It's a day that the Lord has made with new possibilities and new hope.

Prayer

Father, we pray that you will bless us on Friday and comfort us during the weekend. We thank you that your mercies for us are new each day. We pray this in Jesus name amen.

Lamentations 3:22-24

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
